Nicely located. Proximity to most frequented neighborhoods in the CBD or to the Harbor Front. The staff is friendly and hotel amenities are adequate.

Here are the negatives: 1. The initial booking rate as per was 255 Sing Dollar per night. However, the hotel after confirmation and couple of days of booking reverted back with a request for additional surcharge of 100 Sing Dollar per night giving Singapore Airshow as reason, else the room booking to be forfeited. I had to accept as it was too late to search for other hotels and given the airshow, I did not want to risk this reservation as well. 2. The booking on was clearly from 9th Feb till 14th Feb. On checking in, they presented me with a check-in form which said I am booked till 17th Feb. I pointed this out and was told by the front reception that it is an oversight, to be corrected and I can proceed to my room. When I was checking out on 14th Feb, the front office said that I had booked till 17th Feb, so I will be charged accordingly and only the eligible refund as per'hotel rules' will be reverted back to my card. When I mentioned out that I had pointed this error while checking in, it was simply brushed off and i was asked to provide proof of booking from 9th Feb till 14th Feb. So early in the morning, while I was getting late to my first meetings, I had to submit proof by pulling out my laptop and showing them the confirmation mail! I found it ridiculous that they do not even have an access to my booking confirmation through I had to literally shout my way through to ensure they do not charge me anything for what was obviously a fault from their side. More than anything, their refusal to start with the assumption that the customer could be right is not acceptable.

The hotel and staff are very accommodating to all nationalities, so it made staying abroad easy.

My room appeared to have some water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom.

I had a confirmed booking which the hotel didn't find. It took 30 minutes of discussions and escalation to the manager before the confirmed my stay. On the second day they wanted to increase the rate by $50 above the confirmed rate.
