After an extensive modernisation, the Hotel Haus Kronenthal today ranks among the most modern hotels in Ratingen. The beautiful and historic main building from the year 1865 was then bought and completed by the current owner’s great-grandfather. First it was a pub proving food for waggoners who were passing by with their horses. In the course of time, it was extended and modernised. Nowadays, it is one of the most renowned hotels and restaurants of the area.

Our harmonically set and quietly situated rooms offer a modern and contemporary arrangement. They are all equipped with shower or bath, WC, soundproof doors, smoke detectors, flat screen TV, direct-dial telephone and WLAN for free. We also offer handicapped accessible rooms and extra-large beds.

Our nice breakfast area with view of the garden is very popular, and our guests praise the good breakfast with fresh fruit salad, home-made jam and honey from Ratingen beekeeping. In the midst of old trees, rhododendron and the pretty garden, there is Cedric's Restaurant. Here you can enjoy chosen specialties.

Positive If you arrive later than 10 pm, you can call and they send a PIN number you can access the key with this PIN. Very delicious breakfast, e. g. muesly, scrambled eggs. There is a nice view from the breakfast room to the garden. Negative To start the TV and receiver is somewhat complicated.

Negative Minor niggles: My hotel room faced the dining area. I had to make sure the window was closed when changing! The mineral water bottles. Positive Hallo, Ich bin nun schon seit 5 Jahren immer mal wieder Gast im Kronenthal. Auch diesmal hatte ich ein schönes Zimmer unterm Dach. Sehr freundliches Personal und gute Preis-Leistung runden meinen sehr positiven Eindruck ab. Sehr zu empfehlen.
