Evaluations of TRAVELODGE BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT
very close to the airport good bed
breakfast just ok room spartan (especially bathroom)
Near to airport
Staff very slow at checkin.
I have been given disabled people's room. I didn't request for that. Room was cold. The small electric heater on the wall wasn't producing enough heat for the room. I requested an extra heater but staff refused to help me and they just offered extra blanket. after long cold night (I had to cover my head), I was hoping to have a hot shower in the morning but Thermostatic valve in the shower was fixed to the certain temperature and water pressure was low. so all in all it was good experience and I strongly advice my business colleagues to avoid this place. This place is cheap for a good reason. By the way I cancelled my next night stay in that hotel and stayed some where else.
Very close to Birmingham airport to catch early morning flights
Very basic only arrived late at night and checked out very early
The receptionist was friendly and very welcoming. If you wish to reach the airport or nec the X1 bus will take you their. A single ticket to the airport is 1 pound.
Room 204 seemed to have a draft from the window under the sill. I was disturbed by guests returning 4oclock and 4.30 in the morning, maybe a notice asking guests to be Curtious wouldn't be a bad idea
well situated and friendly hotel
towels not as clean as they could be
Close to the airport. Firm mattress, room is clean and tidy
We stayed in a double deluxe room. The room had a king size bed, one desk with one table and that's pretty much it. There is no closet or other furniture. We hang closes on an open rack. I would hardly call this a deluxe room, except for the king sized bed. As i was travelling with my sister, I requested a second duvet. It never arrived. I had to request again the following night. Breakfast had quite a variety of options but for some reason the scrambled eggs tasted funny, the hash browns tasted as if had been cooked in left-over oil // vegetarian sausages was over cooked. Disappointing for a £120 night stay (break fast cost just under 8 pound pp, extra)
I am a frequent traveller all over the world sleeping in a numerous hotels of 3 and 4*. Basing on my experience i tried very hard to find a one single pro of that hotel. Did not find any single reason to stay there one more time. how about more than 100€ per night and you can`t open a window?
Unhelpful staff -i left one thing when checking out and could enter the room personally to collect it. Moreover i was told that nothing was left although it has turned out enetually there was a thing! Obviously return at my cost!. Outrageous!
Cheap and cheerfull
Noise levelsin the room were veryhigh
Typical Travelodge, good location for traveling to NEC
Food Service was appalling
