Evaluations of Edinburgh Grosvenor
It's in the city but still quite. We booked a compact double room. It's compact! The breakfast it's awesome.
Old fashioned charm, good size rooms
No on site parking
Good Location - Very close to train station, a short walk to town center.
Internet for a charge.
This was very good hotel. The stay in Edinburgh was made more enjoyable because of the hotel

The breakfast at the main building was abosolutely amazing. Very nice and you couldn't have asked for a better selection of food and drink. Well done.
The hotel was split into two buildings and some of our party were lodged into the much nicer part and we were left in the older part which although nice enough, we felt was a bit dirty and out dated.
very nice stay==would book again
Food was excellent and staff at check in also very pleasant.
I was in tears as i had asked for 2 double beds, i was in touch with the hotel on the telephone for extra arrangments prior to arrival. Was a special birthday and asked for chocs and wine in room on arrival, we got them one hour after arrival after i complained. No milk on tea tray, we had travelled 5 hours and were desperate for cup of tea. Chewing gum stuck to carpet under my bed along with papers. Bathroom handle was falling off. Was meant to be a nice surprise for my friend and it was totally spoilt, as i said i ended up apologising to her and in tears.
Unfortunately you sold me a room which was in the ´´club´´ wing of the hotel. There was no suggestion that it was not to the standard of a normal Hilton hotel. For the avodiance of doubt, it was not. It is another hotel which Hilton have clearly bought but are yet to refurbish. This should be made clear - you are currently misrepresenting the true position. Thankfully the hotel was prepared to change rooms for an additional fee but this is a very poor sales position.
Very Hilton, Very good!
Not in the centre but only 7/8 minutes by taxi.
worst Hilton I have ever stayed in
