Evaluations of TownePlace Suites Sunnyvale Mountain View
Breakfast can be modified to suite guest choice
Hotel staff is always responsive to your needs
Missing USB charging in rooms
Staff was friendly, having a laundermatt in premise was useful.
Few things that can be improved 1. Rooms can have USB charging points 2. Gym was small and cramped and could be slightly bigger
Fruits at the counter through the day.
Missing: USB Plug points for charging SmartPhones and other gadgets.
Good parking, easy check-in/check-out,
It'a a very basic hotel for the above average price you pay per night. No nearby walking restaurants. The nightly room rate structure varies per room type they give you (ask for basic room - they will try to say it's an upgraded room, etc.). No full length ironing table. Poor lighting.
Palo Alto area hotels extremely expensive. Property is as advertised like all TownePlace Suites hotels. Rooms clean and spacious. Like kitchenette in the room.
Heating/air conditioning unit noisy and not easily regulated. Otherwise room was fine.
The hotel is centrally located which is a big plus. This helped in reducing my commute time.
On the day of vacating the premise, I was seeking clarity on the bill which apparently was showing up more, as they had included call charges made within USA too. Front desk staff were not authorised to provide the waiver hence asked me to wait for the Manager to arrive. I had to literally wait for more than 2+ hrs and finally the manager arrives at 10:45 AM. The manager waived off the amount but his comments of his personal life is more important than anyone waiting for him did not go well with me. I was very upset and frustrated as I ran late to office by more than 3 hrs and for no mistake of mine. Note: Please add disclaimers on your phones stating that it will be charged if used (even for local calls).
Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread, although monotonous, was just about right. Hotel was located in the vicinity with many retain shop and Indian restaurants.
The breakfast lounge was small, cramped and often crowded. The gym had only one Treadmill and was not available even if you go in the morning at 5:30am. No water bottle supplied to the rooms on daily basis. The room cleaning staff often forgot to replace cosmetics in the room, which ran into weeks one time.
Overall condition, staff and the building as such. Fresh fruits during the day. Nice residential area.
Quite slow internet connection. Voice over IP has had bad quality. Noise in the room strongly depends from neighbours or the people above. I was lucky but the noise prevention is poor. Breakfast area too small, only kind of fast-food breakfast
Nice place to stay. Safeway opp to the hotel.
Cleaning can be improved.
