Evaluations of Sofitel Warsaw Victoria
The hotel restaurant serves good food well prepared and presented.
A music event took place on the night of 10th-11th June. The noise was such that it was impossible to sleep until 03:00 AM. Since I had to rise at 03:30 to leave at 04:00, this was quite unacceptable. No forewarning was given, and no attempt was made to compensate in the tariff.
Very friendly staff.
Price is too high
Kindness of receiption and Concierge! Good location for sightseeing
Breakfast was not 5 stars. was ok.
Warm people. Excelent location.
The breakfast can improve adding some hot meals.
Jakość pościeli. Cisza w pokoju. Rozmiar jedynki był spory.
Parking ma miejscami 1,80m. Woda w basenie była mętna, a pod prysznicem (na basenie) tylko zimna.
Great rooms, nice bar/restaurant are, excellent staff and a good location!
The pool and wellness area is less than what the pictures would suggest.
The Sofitel Victoria lays very good for a visit in the old town (10 min. by foot). The ongoing renovation improves many things such as the floors, wallpainting and escalator. So one cannot speak from old fashioned (opening 1976). The breakfast is a real highlight.
Due to a congress in the hotel (which I didn't attend), I was booked in a "business room" which was originally meant to do business during the day. The Couch was transformed into a double-bed which was extraordenary comfortable. Though I didn't ask for another room. There was litte inconvenience e.g. to switch off the light, which wasn't possible from the bed. All in all a small minus.
Central location and close to both old town and shopping districts
Room is old and dark.
The swimming pool is fabulous.
The shower in the mens dressing room should be fixed in three (3) days!
- Bad welcome at reception ("please go to another counter") - Bed cover very short
