Hotel Description

Small historical hotel situated in the Stockholm Archipelago but accessibly by car or public bus or boat. The hotel has 15 rooms in two 1700s buildings renovated into a hotel in 2013. The old style interior was kept, while adding modern amenities such as bathrooms, TV WiFI et cetera. The old fortress is part of the hotel, and there are historical tours daily. The view is spectacular and the area is secluded, calm, quiet and surrounded by nature. The small picturesque city of Vaxholm which is the hub of the archipelago is close by. The hotel offers complementary bicycles and can collect guests and/or luggage at the closest bus stop upon request. The hotel is open for private guests in the summer, at Christmas and weekends the rest of the year but always open for private/corporate groups.
