EUTIN HIGHLIGHTS The most impressive thing about a visit to Eutin is the Eutin Castle. You should definitely visit the exhibitions of the East Holstein Museum, which are also located on Schlossplatz and housed in the Duke's former stables. The immediately adjacent castle garden, designed as an English landscape garden with waterfalls, avenues and an orangery, as well as the kitchen garden integrated into it, are unique in northern Germany. On a city tour you will pass chapter courts, miniature editions of stately estates, the Michaeliskirche, once almost the seat of a bishop, or the Ruschen-Twiete: bathing ladies are said to have spoiled the high church lords here in a pleasurable way
