Evaluations of Best Western Buckingham Palace Road
well located in the city of London and access to metro, bus and train
being just next to the train tracks vibrated the building and the room very frequently even in midnight
Good location, close to Victoria station. Good for shopping and dining
Some noises, probably from the traffic
Close to Victoria station, perfect for getting around, many single rooms for single travellers.
Location excellent for tourist and business concerns. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, single rooms (for London) spacious.
Close to Victoria station, so better bring earplugs!
The bed was clean and comfortable. Television was good and no interference with reception. Tea and coffee in room and plenty of it. Shower was lovely. Towels were a good size, not the skimpy wee things you get in some places. The room was clean, the reception staff polite and welcoming. There is also a folder of information in your room to keep you right. It was a lovely room. I cannot comment about breakfast as my booking was room only. I breakfasted elsewhere.
Bathroom floor had a small bit of debris in corner, as if someone had forgot to sweep it up, but nothing startling. For other users of the hotel, my single room was on a lower ground floor akin to a basement, it was a lovely room and the location did not bother me but might bother others. The only other thing was noise from the trains as the Inn is very near Victoria Train Station. I have to be honest, it did not disturb me but I mention it as other travellers may find it noisy. The trains do go off about 11.30-midnight, so you do get some sleep. There is also some traffic noise but it is London, so it will be noisy.
clean, modern decor
next to train station, terrible soundproof. extremely small room
The Cutomer serivce was really good. They really went out of their way for us and were all really nice.
Our room was great, but some rooms are really small.
We were at lower ground and we needed to get some more fresh air.
we were in a basement room very very noisey from the drain water all night long, every time some one in hotel went to bathroom the water was so loud going down the pipes next to our room all night long
Area for our needs were ideal
Disappointed to be in the basement with no view, with a humming water tank/cistern. Lots of banging from higher levels that kept us awake half the night. Defiantly not worth £178 minus breakfast.
