The place is located in Chicago's South Loop. You can reach the L and Union Station quickly. The SAP Office in Downers Grove is a bit further outside, so that you can take the BNSF train from Union Station or a cab. The internet connection in the room is fast and you have sufficient space to setup a laptop.
Due to the fact that it's in the city center, you can hear a bit of traffic. But I had no issue with it. Furthermore, some parts of the room fell apart, but overall it was clean.
Great location, staff quick & attentive. Highly recommend.
None at all.
Everyone very helpful finding places to eat, and getting to our destination in Chicago.
Lots of noise from outside. Lots of noise from hallway with doors and hotel employees yelling down hall at each other.
very basic Bar & breakfast // noisy //
The staff was very helpful and over the top friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The received a very good rate considering the location, which I thought was perfect for travelers. The room was nice and comfortable for the most part.
The on-site restaurant is very pricey, (however there were several casual dining on options on the same block), and the valet parking for the hotel is also very expensive for overnight parking in comparison to the room rate (but you can park your car yourself nearby for half the valet rate). I normally like to see breakfast included with the room rate. When I first got to my room, the temperature was way too high, and at first we had a hard time getting the temperature to a comfortable level. It seemed like they were having some problems with the elevators when I was there too. But overall, I thought it was a very nice hotel for my purposes.
