Evaluations of AC Hotel Atocha
very goog breakfast
A very good hotel with high standard quality.
The breakfast options are not that good, and the gym is useless.
Very noisy room + the worst fitness center ever - there are just one bycicle and 2 treadmill. That's it.
Overall it's a nice hotel with fancy rooms.
My room was in front of the elevator and it was very very noisy. I woke up every morning so early. If you release the door it makes such a terrible noise.
Fast check-in, room was well equipped on Marriott standard, if there were not serious problems, I would recommend to others, but unfortunately I felt not that happy with my stay.
EVERY night the hotel staff is packing the waste, as I had a room next to the elevator they were bringing everything to that place and then started packing the stuff between 2 and 3:00 am. Furthermore these folks were shouting all along the floor in order to align on their work. Maybe they change their processes to not wake up the guests every night. HORRIBLE. Breakfast could have a better choice of warm food.
sound isolation is very bad and people in the coridor are very noisy. The transparent shower cabin in the center of the room is very impressive, but if you book a double room, then it can be uncomfortable.
Room big enough Location very useful
Noisy rooms! One could hear everything from the neighbors... Personnel collects trash bags in the middle of the night in front of the room door. Every night even after complaining! Take a different one in Madrid if possible.
Very new hotel, very clean and logistically very good with Atocha station and workway to Prado. Nice garden
It is styled in brown retro art decor style but sometimes it seems a bit to dark. But based on the fact all is new and spain is a hot country it does not matter
Clean and attractive rooms, good neighborhood, quiet environment.
The fitness room was a joke. Breakfast was good, but the groceries were extremely dry. The card key lost its code every day, so I had to revalidate the card twice, it was a little bit inconvenient.
There is no free WiFi in the rooms as suggested in the hotel description The breakfast is very poor and costs 15€ (extremely expensive for what is offered)
