The Hotel Björken is a patient hotel also welcoming guests with no connection to the hospital. It is located adjacent to the University Hospital and the University of Umeå. The hotel safeguards the environment and was certified by the municipal of Umeå in 1997. Walking distance to the city centre is 15 minutes. Bus stops are located very close to the hotel offering connections with local and long distance bus routes. Patients booked by health care authorities.

All rooms have cable TV, hair dryer, refrigerator, direct phone line, security alarm and a safety box. 36 of the rooms are designed for disabled, 49 for allergic people, of which two rooms are adapted for electricity allergic people.

The Björken Restaurant seats 255 people. However, the restaurant also welcomes smaller dinner parties. We will be pleased to accommodate your specific wishes for your conference arrangement. We offer a variety of menus at your desire.

Our conference rooms are suitable for small meetings as well as for conferences of up to 50 attendees. For specific requirements not listed in our standard brochures, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your wishes.
