The historic mountain hotel Pilatus-Kulm**** was built in 1890 and completely renovated in 2010. It has 27 superior double rooms and 3 junior suites, all with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama. Every room comes with a TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. You will find a gift shop at the property and the elegant restaurant Pilatus-Kulm serves seasonal and regional specialties. IMPORTANT: Please note that the hotel is a mountain hotel and only accessible via the aerial cableways from Kriens and/or the cogwheel railway from Alpnachstad. Additionally, be aware that the gondola and/or aerial cableway may be temporarily or entirely suspended during thunderstorms, storms, etc. Access to the mountain is not guaranteed at all times, so please plan your arrival early.Please note that the hotel can only be reached by aerial cableways from Kriens. The last ride is at 17:00 in summer and at 16:00 in winter. Please check the schedule in advance. In summer, the hotel can also be reached by cogwheel train from Alpnachstad. Please check the schedule in advance. The aerial cableways may be temporarily inoperable in case of strong winds. The tickets for ascent and descent can be purchased at a discounted rate if you show your booking confirmation. The à-la-carte restaurant is only open during the day.
