Evaluations of Zagreb
Low cost 21euro/night, solid wifi, Bundek bus stop is close with frequent busses, close supermarket and park
No a/c + noisy with window open at night to ventilate = earplugs and eye mask necessary for sleep in the summer
Good location for children, because of near parc
Very bad hotel, no air conditon, no refrigirator, small and old rooms, old windows
Towels were thick and nice, cleaning was good. The staff was quite helpful.
They charge for the wifi, 5 kuna/hour. The "free internet" consists of ONE old slow computer in the lobby. I think it's extremely bad service not to provide free wifi in 2013. Especially since you get the impression from the internet that it would be free (it says they 'provide' wifi). Breakfast felt as it had been layn out for hours, they served powder coffee, and the staff in the restaurant is really slow and waits for things to run out and guests to ask before they get more food and cups. We also saw the personnel smoking in the kitchen during breakfast. Room was very small and hot, no aircondition and the bathroom ventilation was poor.
Dubravka was amazing!
I loved Dubrovka! She was so helpful and spoke great English. She was the best (and only) good part about the hotel.
In American, this would be considered a 'MOTEL.'
