Overall articulate & pleasant staff at the desk.Lovely, helpful young men in the foyer & also when managing our luggage. The lady cleaning our room was great. We felt well supported during & after an incident in the elevator.
The pool was closed despite the humid weather.
very convenient location, well-maintained property, pleasant staff
I was at this hotel for 3 nights and changed 3 rooms. The first room smelt bad (like a public restroom), and the carpet was soaking wet - like someone had poured water directly on it. The bathroom and tub had hair (not mine) in it. The staff changed my room to a smaller room, carpet was also very old like the first one, but not wet at least. There was still some wierd smell. Then through my office, and the hotel's sales rep, had the room changed to one of the "renovated" rooms. The carpet was new, the beds very comfortable, and they had modernized the furniture somewhat. Bathroom was the same as the older rooms, but at least it was clean. Overall, other than the proximity to downtown, I would not recommend this hotel.
The Air conditioning in the building was not working at the time of the stay. The staff assured me (twice) that it would be corrected both times, yet never was. Very expensive for the size/type of room.
