Evaluations of TRAVELODGE MILTON KEYNES AT THE HUB
The Hotel Change in the middle of the week from the brand Ramada Encore to a Travelodge Hotel. The guest were not informed. At the check out on friday i have received only a bill for a two night stay in Travellodge, the bill for the 3 nights in the Ramada i haven't because no systemfrom the Ramada was available.
Breakfast was correct, and the staff was polite.
The wifi is supposed to be free, but the website where you register is not clear enough. Instead of directing to where the free wifi is, the first option they give you is to a paying option (because of higher speed), which leads to error. It feels as if they are trying to trick you. The showerpipe was really small.
- Clean and modern rooms - Central location
- High noise level (bad noise insulation) - Continuous problems with fire alarms at night
Comfortable bed, pleasant room.
A little noisy outside, but not really disturbed by it. Shower looked a bit grubby where the screen met the floor.
The room was clean and spacious. The receptionist was very friendly.
The noise was the only bad thing. An alarm went off several times which kept waking us up.
The hotel was well located for the venue we were visiting.
I was very, very disappointed with one aspect of our stay and that was the car parking arrangements. Upon arrival at the hotel we were told that the adjacent multi story car park associated with the hotel was full and that we would have to find some local street parking. Having done this at a not inconsiderable cost, we went up to our room on the seventh floor of the hotel. The view from our room was overlooking the same multi story car park , and the top floor contained a total of three cars. So clearly the reception staff had been misinformed and there was plenty of space in the car park. Not a great start to our time at the hotel!.
Bed a bit squeaky
Noise from hallway
The hotel is in a great location, there were plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk! If none of those take your fancy or you just want to go for a shop central Milton Keynes is a 10-15 minute walk and easy to find! And the hot chocolate was great haha
A few of the channels on the TV didn't work and nor did the WIFI. Also we were giving a disabled room but we're not told about this, I wasn't to bothered as it was still nice but it would of been nice to have been told as it meant we didn't get the sofa bed that all bon disabled rooms get. Also we tried to speak to one of the cleaners to ask whether she has had chocolate and she did not speak English and couldn't understand us! When we left the room we had spilt something on our sheet, whilst we were out the towels were changed (we think) and the bed was made the none of the dirty bed linen was replaced!!
Great location and friendly helpful staff !
