Evaluations of TRAVELODGE LONDON FULHAM
Nothing really grabbed me about this hotel, we felt like we were entering the lobby of flats rather than an hotel.
The outside appeal is poor, the road is too busy. There's no parking even though literature suggest there is. We could hear the guest above us moving around and across the floor everytime they went to the toilet. We had a twin bed adapted room, therefore the beds seemed narrow and too low. 1 reception staff member wasn't helpful enough.
I liked the cleanliness of the rooms and the decor.
Well I have stayed in the travellodge over the weekend.I'm really disappointed with the stay in travellodge. On the first day when we were about to check in we were told that the hotel is full and that they don't have my booking in the database.it was really frustrating as when they finally found our booking we have found out that there was one room out of order ´´our room ´´so we have been transferred to another travellodge, that was really far away. The receptionist has told us that if we want to change the next day back to the fulham we should let them know by 12 noon. The next day we went to the front office to tell them that we would like to change back to the Fulham travellodge,But the receptionist hasn't been notified about it therefore we had to wait for like 1h30 so that she can contact the other hotel .We wasted so much time and we had to change the plan of the day because of this not pleasant incident and we still ended up staying in the 2nd travellodge battersea.
friendly staff clean room central location near to tube
noisy front room above market stalls but the staff changed our room to a much quieter room at the back with no fuss well done staff
Location was good and the room was comfortable and clean. Nice staff.
Great location, very helpful/attentive/friendly staff. Very clean room. Perfect for somewhere to stay when in London
The staff were wonderful, always welcoming and smiling. I had a long stay here, one month. The pillows and duvet were comfortable and warm. The shower had great pressure and was nice and hot. Great location, 10 minutes to either Fulham Broadway station or West Brompton. Lots of cheap take away places, lots of £1 stores, lots of supermarkets, a street market for fresh foods 6 days a week, rain, hail or shine. It was a good size for one person. Could be comfortable for two, but I can see some might want more space. I think the size is great for its price and location. Overall a really comfortable stay! Loved the staff!
Only had a kettle. So instant noodles for me for a month. But lots of cheap take out and a market on North End road. No laundry facilities on site. Coin laundry (£4 per wash) was a 10 minute walk away. No fridge (Australian motels tend to have fridges, so I was hoping to store food for my month stay). Sink drains didn't drain very well, but it seems this is normal in most London properties. At first I thought the shower would flood the bathroom, but it managed to keep within the shower basin.
The chap on reception was very calm and polite despite being very busy! The location is good for the Hammersmith - we walked, it took about 20 mins, and taxi-ed back which wasn't very expensive. Plenty of shops and places to have a drink/eat around the area. We had a room at the back and it was quiet and the bed was comfortable, hence the high making - it would probably be different if your room overlooks the high street.
The room had only been semi- prepared when we checked in - although clean, the bed was only half made up, although the receptionist was very apologetic and said he would sort this out, it was easier for me to make the bed up myself as we had just unloaded all our bags and were in a rush to get to our gig and didnt want to chance coming back if he hadn't had time to resolve. We booked though a booking site which stated there was plenty of parking - there is no parking on site and we were directed by reception to park at the Ibis Hotel a few hundred metres away - not a massive problem although we were not expecting to have to pay parking, but it left one of us having to run into the hotel to check where there parking is, and the other one trying to find somewhere to pull over safely as it's a busy street, it cost more money to park down the side street whilst waiting - I note the hotels own website gives completely different details including a discount parking scheme - this may be new information, but it wasn't what the receptionist told us - Ibis Hotel residents receive a discount on parking - it may be worth checking them out direct to see if their room rates make it worth your while to stay there?
