The Assistant Manager Patricia, is so rude!!! Intimmidates guests. For example, she asks you for reservation name and you tell her your last name and then she asks you to spell it and just because she spells it wrong in the computer and cant find your name she says, ´´you dont know your own name?´´ in a rude tone of voice. Then you tell her can I write it for you, and she goes no find your confirmation paper, step to the side let me take care of guest who do know their name. Finally, I find my reservation paper, then she says oh its spelled with an e and not an i, and in my head I was like she makes things so complicated. Then another customer had the same problem, she is rude doesnt greet guests, she doesnt even smile, makes you not feel welcome, and as a tourist it makes your first day already feel spoiled with an attitude like hers. Shes assistant manager and she doesnt even act like that, she is just so Rude, wouldnt go again if shes there. She doesnt even explain what time is breakfast, or that we have to ask for a blow dryer up front. I learned that you had to ask for a blow dryer because, the other girl told her customer, would you need a blow dryer for your stay?.... Anyways travelodge you are in a good location, but with employees with that attitude can cost you customers.
good location. Good breakfast.
non. What I expected from a travel lodge
Nice experience in general. Friendly personal.
The location was perfect for us requirements.
There was no car parking despite putting in a request and calling twice. Dirty towels from previous guest left in room. Bathroom has not been upgraded despite the hotel claiming to have been refurbished. Only one coffee cup in a room for two. Hotel gave me the wrong room type without apology or explanation despite calling prior to arrival twice to check on my room.
Breakfast is a must
Be careful of what you order on the hotel sites because I ended up buying a twin room without the site telling me until I arrived on the day.
Location near Tube.Excellent food and room
really central - 5 minutes from Southwark tube and easy to get to the Tate and Borough market. Location is excellent and the staff on reception are a credit to the chain, i couldn't have asked for nicer people. Hotel is clean, efficient and the rooms are completely functional and adequate.
the beds..travelodge is only let down by beds that are like bricks. all of us had a really uncomfortable nights sleep on beds that had no comfort factor. To call the beds should be challenged under trades description act. Its a shame, i would use it more but need to actually be able to sleep! Up your game travelodge!
Although only rated 2 star, room cleanliness was excellent. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. This Travelodge had a 24hr convenience store next door and was ideal for the London attractions we wanted to visit. Would recommend for a one or two night stay.
No drawers and minimal wardrobe space. No hairdryer supplied.
