Evaluations of TRAVELODGE BIRMINGHAM FORT DUNLOP
Located close to Jaguar plant Castle Bromwich // good Italo-India restaurant around the corner. Also 24h/7 day fitness center in same building. Room has equipment to brew some coffee/tea.
Quality is on youth-hostel level: beds are ok, but linen looks worn // rooms need a renovation, no possibility to lock away something. Windows are small and can be opened only 10 cm // constant background noise from nearby motorway/manufacturing plant. WiFi free for 30 min, then you have to pay (iPpass will not help).
Clean and comfortable.
Parking charges would be high during the week. Luckily I stayed during the weekend and free parking.
The hotelnis quite new and clean, but the management is not so good. There was a hole on the wall, and TV contriller and a balb of light were missing. ALso the hotel entrance is far away from the parking. It will be difficult in raining day. The breakfast was GBP 7.50 but the coffee was instant coffee and it is unbelievable.
