The hotel had an exquisite style which provided a one of a kind experience, that transported me to a plush Victorian era.

I am extremely disappointed with the hotel's inhumane staff. The staff greeted me with wide smiles during check in, but unfortunately, the courtesy ended with that. In the breakfast table, I felt a sudden uneasiness and frantically approached the concierge desk for medical assistance. The person there told me that a doctor was available on call and it would take 45 mins to come. Well, that answered my question but I was shocked that the staff lacked any empathy and dint offer anything more to help me - I was not asked how I was feeling, if I needed any other help, a glass of water, a word of comfort - absolutely nothing. Which I felt was very inhumane. I would have rather stayed at a place where I paid 1/10th the price but I was valued as a person. My disappointment dint end there. While I was booking a cab to reach the hospital I happen to sit in their lobby, when a hotel staff asked for my room number and name. I was asked for the same details even outside the hotel lobby while I was waiting for a cab to pick me up. I couldn't fathom a reason for such questions, but just made me uncomfortable and hated my decision to stay here. I would have felt in safer hands if I had stayed in any other place. Wish the hotel knows that it is important to make their guests feel safe and wanted, and courtesy does not end with wide smiles during check in.
