It was awesome!! Couldn't find a fault!
Very convenient to Victoria station, room overlooked station but extremely quiet,
long walk from lift, long queue to check out but OK
no heating in room
Overpriced. Reception staff not too friendly. Rooms very loud and not very clean.
Well located with a good reception/foyer. The corridors were also well decorated.
The total price confirmed by email was excluding VAT which I did not realise so the total price charged to me account was a surprise when I received my statement.
Very well located for Victoria
The email confirmation stated the price less VAT and yet stated it was the total price. What was charged to my account was the total price plus VAT. This was not good to find out after my stay when I received my statement.
When we got to our room on arrival there was a considerable amount of water leaking through the roof via the light-fittings! Receptions response was to ask if I wanted to change rooms then!!!! Then when the porter came to assist with the room change we showed him the flooded bathroom and his reaction was totally unconcerned.
