Evaluations of The Gainsborough
Facility conditions and room dimensions not satifying
Location, closeness to tube and park. Cleanliness
Noise from street and trash cans
Staff friendly and great location.
No hotel wifi. To use Wifi it is through another wifi company and very expensive being 10pounds per 24hours and you can only use one device. Not ideal if staying for business.
nice and quiet area
no free wifi
Our room was right next to the lift so we could hear it every time it was used
The single room was the smallest I have ever seen, it was disgraceful. I could hardly fit in the shower and I am a very small person. Definitely not value for money.
The room was clean and suitable for my purposes.
There was a musty odor in the bathroom.
Great location near South Kensington station on three lines (including one serving Heathrow). Also a couple stops from Victoria Station. Friendly staff. Clean room.
Lots of traffic noise (with the window open), and shouting matches outside until 3 a.m. Air conditioning unit was standalone and not convenient.
The location is good
My room was in the basement, very small, loud and too expensive for the price
for 70€ you have a room without window !!
