Evaluations of Stachus
What can future guests look forward to the most, e.g. fashionable interior, magnificent location or marvelous wellness area?
In what regard did the hotel not meet your expectations?
Short walk from the main station. Breakfast was good.
Noisy in the morning if kept window open
Nice, clean, modern hotel. Professional and helpful staff.
WiFi quality and connection poor. Breakfast costs 15 euros.
Great location- very near to the train stations and all the tourist attractions
No free wifi in rooms
It is perfectly positioned for Bahnhof, Shopping centre and Tourist sites. Next to the U and S Bahn makes life easy. Good breakfast and helpful staff. I have been using Stacchus for 30years.
Nothing except the door locking system did not work easily.
Quality of hotel was very good and with hotel being in the centre, it was perfect for visiting any location.
Good value for money - especially at this time of year in Munich this close to the Altstadt. Very clean, which I value above almost anything else, and basic, which doesn't waste money on superfluous extras.
The morning receptionist was able to give me directions to a 24h pharmacy open on a Sunday morning.
I was convinced I had booked a room with two twin beds. Just to be sure I specified ´´two single beds and bathroom´´ on my booking form. On arrival I discovered the room had only one, double, bed. (This may or may not have been my mistake during booking. I am unable to ascertain this now). However the evening receptionist was overtly unsympathetic to the problem, argumentative, unhelpful, unfriendly, defensive and almost hostile. The room was much too small for two people. One person at a time could barely manage to edge past the bed. The shower cubicle with glass door was in the sleeping area and offered no privacy whatsoever. There were no cupboards, drawers or wardrobes suitable for clothes in the room. The morning receptionist was helpful, but also uncommunicative, unsmiling and unfriendly. My general impressions of Hotel Stachus are very, very poor indeed. S. R. Barley.
