Evaluations of Smart Hotel Milano Central Station
No Bar - breakfast only opens at 7am Damp patches on walls
location is perfect. close to central station of milan. easy acces to metro. breakfast simple but ok.
we stayed for one night. it all started ok, the room looked clean and perfect for 2 people, but when when we came back to our room late at night we discovered cat pee on a bed pillow. the smell was awful. a weird situation so we went to the reception to complain. instead of giving us a fresh new pillowcase and sheet they offered us a new room. which sounded ok. we changed rooms late late at night. and it was a horrible room, room 101 was a room for handicapped people, apparently never used or at least not for the last couple of weeks/months. it was dirty! mosquito bloodstains on the walls. bloodstain on the curtain. many alive and kicking mosquitos in the room. cobwebs like massive ones in the ceiling corners and the walls could really use some fresh paint, seriously. back to the reception to explain the room was unacceptable. they were not very happy but we insisted on another room. finally they gave us another room, so we changed rooms again. the room was clean but it was a room for one person so we had a terrible night sleep on the small bed. overall due to the mysterious cat and its pee, a not so good experience.
Hotel Service is very good.
The rooms are clean, cable TV.Every day they clean and maintain the rooms. Very conviniently located.
The ladies from the reception not really ready to help you discover the city. The guys receptionists were very good and ready to answer any questions.
Sound isolation is extremely poor, both from outside (and there are construction around, even at night)and from inside (you can her next rooms and anybody walking in the corridor). Furniture is limited and I could feel the springs of the matress on my back, which did not allow me to spleep comfortably. Two lights did not work as well as the TV remote control. The shower is so small that you spill water on the toilet as well as all over the bathroom (including towel and carpet). This is the kind of Hotel that thinks it can lack the basics because it looks white, new and trendy. In fact in 3 years it will be passed
very good position close to the main train station and underground. Design lobby and very nice breakfast area with open kitchen where food is prepared at the moment. Very pleasant waking up in the morning with cakes and bakery smell! Rooms are very basic and clean thanks to no use of tapestry and fitted parquet.
Rooms could look too basic,in particular the single one, some bathrooms are really tiny and missing of some hooks and at least one stool.
