Helpful staff on the reception.

My booking did not get transferred from the Porsche hotels booking site to the hotel systems. It took a loing time to find the booking and check in. Rather old and dated rooms.

The heating was on in the room and radiator was broken, so it was not possible to switch it off, so I was sweating in the room. Both dinner and breakfast were bad quality food, in particular breakfast was not fresh. Facilities decorative conditions of the building are really old, not pleasant at all. We were waken at 6 by the fire alarm, which was not an actual one. Hence I slept really badly and few hours. Reception personnel was even a little grumpy, certainly not smiling.

The hotel seems to be undergoing a refurbishment. Some rooms were already refurbished. Unfortunately, I did not have a working shower in my room.

Welcoming staff. Usual hotel chain issues of poor maintenance (window handle missing), dated furniture, variable pillows, ridiculously noisy and ill-positioned kitchen fan. But in terms of value for money it was reasonable at £67 room only.

Room was relatively cost effective and staff were polite and professional.

Room was very tired & needed updating. TV didn't work, bathroom very shabby and found hair on the bathroom floor. Booked the hotel based on location and brand rather than price and expected much more from the Ramada brand.

The hotel grounds are very pretty and the staff are helpful

The restaurant is extremely slow and the food is expensive. I would not recommend eating in the hotel
