Evaluations of Novotel Beijing Peace
Hotel extremely unhygienic & dirty. The corridors stink & have to change 2 lifts to reach the room, plus it takes 7 mins extra.
city center. friendly staff, the reception is soso, but other working staff is quite supportive. breakfast is OK.
no direct elevator to the room, need to change one time elevator and a few staircases which is not convenient for large luggage carrier.
Concierge Jack was tremendously friendly! Novotel should give him a promotion!
Good price and good location
Small bathroom, no equipment for ironing
Superb location near to Wangfujing pedestrian street.
Room is a bit dark, not enough lightings.
location is quite good
Friendly and competent staff. We could rent a bicycle for 2 hours for only half the cost and got some recommendations for a city trip. Location is good.
Too less room for the price. I currently stay in Dalian in a hotel for the same price but at least two stars more. Room in Novotel is very small, my floor was wet (about 1 squaremeter beside the bed). Condition in the bathroom doesnt fit to this price, some youth hostels have better condition. Nothing to do with the hotel, not rated: be aware about Wangfujing road! A beer was 59 RMB at a table on the road. Wangfujing snack street prices are 10 times higher then in rest of China.
Good value for money, and their concierge is quite helpful, though not very efficient.
It's more like a local Chinese hotel and does not reflect the Novotel image. The receptionists only command minimum English. Bed linen, bathrobe are not starched nor white, you just have a feeling that they are not replaced. The water coming out from the shower is so weak that you just worry there is no water when you are in the middle of the shower! The lightings are so dim that one cannot really work in the room. Breakfast & dinner buffets are mediocre. Really target for groups only! Overall, if not for the competitive tariff, will not recommend this hotel to colleagues nor friends.
Room too small, Prices a little bit expensive
Location is the main reason of the choice.Friendly staff except in the breakfast buffet, cookers are too cool, smileless, seems they are bored from 7am.
I had the standard room, smell urine in the room. Music from outside early in the morning.Door claps loudly, not helpful to the jetlag.
