Hotel location
Evaluations of Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
Everything was very good in general. I had a great view of Kyoto station.
The building and interior seemed a bit old for me.
A++++++ Extremely happy with everything we would stay here again with no hesitation, staff were very helpful and friendly, location was great, hotel and rooms were beautiful. Everything was perfect!
I do not have a negative word to say.
Really close to the station, thus easy to reach
It is very deceptive to give a room price NOT including service charges and taxes. The price was actually much higher than what was printed in bold on the reservation. This is unfair to the customer. Customers want to know only the final price inclusive of all charges and taxes. Anything else is misleading and unfair business practise. Hotel.de should look into this kind of practise and prevent such abuse on its reservation system. The organisation of the internet-access in the hotel lobby was very poor: At times there was no-body using the systems, but because someone had made a ´´reservation´´, nobody else was allowed to use it. Three persons waited while nobody used the computer. It should be ´´first come, first serve´´, possibly with a time limit for users. ´´Reservations´´ should not be possible or forfeit if not used on time.
