Evaluations of Motel One am Michel
The hotel is really very centrally situated. Everything looks clean as it is a newly hotel. We hope that this can be maintained.
No soap in the Bathroom for hand washing. Only Shower Gel availbe. With all the negative press about infection I think that this is a minimum that should be part of a bath equipment and would not cost too much. The crowed during breakfast time, this was incredible and not really relaxing. The next time, eventhough breakfast is not expensive I would book without breakfast and go to a quiet restaurant. For me the breakfast area really needs improvement. I am also wondering how the control works, as nobody asked us for a room nr. so that it can be checked.

Great location. Central to all the points of interest. Could walk everywhere. New, modern hotel.
Capacity of the breakfast facilities seriously under estimated. You can expect to wait for a table to become free and to eat in total chaos. Capacity of lift also seriously under estimated. After waiting ten minutes in the morning for a place in the lift I ended up walking down the stairs with my suitcase.
The price for the area is excellent and the rooms are clean and tidy and just what you need. Wireless access is good. A good Hotel especially considering the price.
The staff are absolutely useless, each time I arrive they cannot locate my booking. They gave very poor directions (I know the area) it is what I heard them saying to others... QUite unfirendly and rude and on one occassion I had to ask to speak to a manager to report this, she was also quite rude. SHame because it made a nice stay unpleasant.
Dass eine Kostenübernahmeerklärung irgendwie verloren geht kommt gelegentlich vor - dass einem dann aber in einem "sehr bestimmten Ton" erklärt wird, dass es keine Kostenübernahmeerklärung gegben haben könne und man sich irren müsse, wenn man am Vortag noch vom Hotel selber telephonisch die Info erhalten habe, dass eine Übernahme vorliege ist nicht das, was ich unter gutem Umgang mit Problemen verstehe. Die Firma wird dieses Hotel vorerst nicht mehr buchen.
