Evaluations of Mercure Bristol Grand Hotel
Thought it was quite a nice hotel on the whole. The staff were very polite and helpful. To be honest I wouldn't recommend nor not recommend this hotel - it was clean and probably on the money - but have stayed at other cheaper hotels that were equally as clean but much less noisy - I do appreciate we probably were just in the 'wrong' room.
The only disappointment was the noise of the Wedding Disco and then the noise of a generator that went all night. And the 'view' out of the window - nothing but Air Conditioning ducting wasn't great.
Very clean and modern rooms. Excellent service by all of the staff. Great pool etc. Room Service.
Room slightly smaller than I would have expected for the money.
Great central location, in walking distance of everything you need...
Coming home... Pillows in the room were a bit hard.
Excellent location, lovely building, great room, great overall decor and fantastic value for money . Would be my first choice if I go to Bristol again.
Ideal location for city centre with car parking (even if £8/day). Spa facilities also a bonus (even if you walked outside the hotel to reach).
Be very cautious driving in the muti-storey car park! The corners and kerb stones at the bottom of each up-ramp very tight!
Wake-up call not executed though they offered first to me to give a call. On pictures at your website, it looks much better than it really is.
