The cost, £120 for room only and we were only in the hotel about 10 hrs in total. The cleanliness of the bathroom. Without being too graphic, someone with black hair had obvioulsy stayed the previous night.
Climate system was not working The room was smelling moisture Holes in the roof Complicated electrical system (cannot swith off the light unless you unplug or switch off all lights)

Mariott Airport hotel is only reachable via Taxi with extra costs. It's not in walking distance from airport.

We booked 2 rooms for ourselves and the children and found upon arrival at 6pm only one room was ready. An hour and a quarter later the other room was ready to be occupied. We found in that room that the wash basin leaked. On ordering room service dinner at 8pm the food did not arrive until 8.55pm and one of the dishes was stone cold. To give them their due, they did not charge us for the dinner as it failed to be delivered within their internal target time of 45 minutes. The rooms we were allocated were miles from reception and there was no porter service in sight or offer to help with our bags. We had to steal the hotel porters trolley to get the bags to the room in one trip. One other annoying thing about this hotel is that you have to pay to park your car there!! Overall a very unpleasnat experience and as a regular customer of Marriott in Australia, Asia and the US I am very surprised at the brand being on this hotel. It did not reach the usual levels of excellence I have experienced in the other Marriott's I have stayed in. In fact it was embarassingly poor by any hotel standards.
Rooms were quite recently refurbished and in excellent condition. Bathroom especially was very good, with a fantastic shower. Very pleased overall.
