Landgasthaus Hotel Maien is situated in the town of Rheinfelden in the southern foothills of the Southern Black Forest, at the Dinkelberg mountain range. This establishment is set about 15 km east of Basle, on the right banks of the High Rhine.
The beautiful hotel annex is harmonically attached to the historical restaurant and comprises 21 single and double rooms. The modern comfort of the guest rooms makes your stay a very pleasant and relaxing one. Room amenities include en-suite facilities, bathrobe, hair dryer, safe, mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone, internet access, radio, desk and balcony.
The traditional restaurant serves a wide variety of plain fare dishes and regional specialties. Guests can furthermore dispose of 3 rooms holding up to 80 people for conferences and festivities. In summer, guest are welcome to sit back in our garden restaurant, where we also prepare for barbecues in the evenings sometimes.
Explore the magnificent countryside, hiking trails, Nordic walking trails and benefit from our bike rental. We also recommend a visit to the Tschamber cave, which is located below the Dinkelberg mountain. Here, you are guided along a 600 m long, illuminated path to see the shell limestone in the depth of the cave.
