Evaluations of Jet Park Hotel Auckland
Sound from the adjacent rooms was very noisy presumably because of thin wall.
very good hotel, clean, good value, friendly staff, excellent food, great start to our family holiday, have recommended and booked my in laws in for visit in january.
The only problem I had with he hotel was actually finding it. So far as I could see there was no signage from the main road apart from a small 'advert' beyond the turn off point. Even the streets were not named. I had to stop on 3 occasons to ask for directions and was not expecting to find it at the end of an industral estate. Even my Germin(?) satnav/gps couldnt recgnise the street name nor that of Massey(?) Road/Street which led to it. Also the entrance had only small signs on a brick wall when I would have exected to find something more substantia and the driveway to the hotel looked as though it was the entrance to an airport car park rather than the hotel. Altogether not very helpful when arriving in the dark.
This hotel is better than the average airport hotel. There is a good range of rooms to suit budget/size of party // pick-ups are regular and prompt // restaurant food is excellent.
Basic rooms are just that // basic but still good value.
The room was rather smaller than we had expected.
Close proximity to airports.
Being in close proximity to the airports the hotel is ideally located for travellers and people are therefore influenced by its location. Effectively the hotel has a captive audience who generally are one night stop over clientel. This fact seems reflective of staff attitude, particularly in the restaurant. There is probably better value alternative accommodation available but taxi charges may make these choices less attractive however, the hotel may on one hand benefit from competition but might also find competition would adversely affect business big style.
we requested shuttle to the hotel at 01.00 hours and we were pleased with prompt service.also return shuttle to airport next day was prompt and driver very helpful. All aspects of our stay were excellent.
Hotel was very nice and comfortable rooms very happy with my stay.
Checked in to the Jet park after a long flight from Dublin found all staff to be very nice and help full room was lovely and big and well equiped with every thing you could want ,We had some lunch and a drink in the restaurant and this was to very good . Thank you Jet park.
