Evaluations of ibis Manchester Centre 96 Portland Street (new ibis rooms)
Price is competitive room was comfortable
The bathroom smelt of urine. The breakfast was expensive and had poor quality ingredients. Bacon was badly cooked and sausages so well cooked the skins were hard.
Cheap value for money
Clean and tidy
Because the hotel is in the centre of manchester,we found it very hard to locate so therefore i would recommend a larger ibis sign
Window facing very busy street with ugly noise
Great location; short walk to downtown shopping and Canal Street nightlife.
Cleaning staff very noisy in the corridor most mornings.
Convenient for tram and city centre
Rowdy people in the corridor on all three nights at times between midnight and 3am. Should be something the hotel can at least show some interest in discouraging. The desk must see the state these people come in at night. I suspect this happens every weekend.
Very good hotel, would recommend to friends.
