Evaluations of ibis Bristol Temple Meads Quay
We stayed 3 nights, every night was really noisy impossible to sleep with really loud music. The second day nobody cleaned the room. The heating sistem was not working and they gave us an electric fan which was not silent. The restaurant has a limited menu and too expensive.
Proximity to train station , restaurant and friendly staff.
The shower had an unpleasant odour.
Clean, good location.
A cheap hotel, clean and value for money.
There is some noise from the train station across the road, but if you close the wall vents and make sure the window is correctly closed the noise is minimal. Breakfast is basic with bacon, scrambelled egg, beans and 'stuffing balls' (I think this is because its nearly Christmas!!)with a continental selection.
There is not free wifi as adverticed, only LAN for 10 GBP per day. They forgot give me wake up call. Working only one from 2 elevators and also that is using staff. And 3 times a day didnt elevator open door in my 4th floor.
This hotel was as expected. It is a two star hotel, and was priced accordingly. Location is good, beside temple mead train station. Clean, warm and comfortable. We did not have breakfast.
Excellent location close to station. When the building works around the area are complete then I feel sure that the walk into City Centre will be easier. Staff and facilities excellent. Breakfast could be enhanced with fruit.
We were woken in the night from noise in room above. The occupants talked to dawn and the noise travelled. When the surrounding properties are occupied then privacy may be a problem.
