By car you can access Falun via road 80 from Gavle or Rattvik. From Borlange/Orebro you come via road 60. From Leksand you come via road 293, follow the signs showing Centrum and Turistinformation. First Hotel Grand is located on the opposite side of the street to the Tourist bureau. Plenty of parking space is located outside the hotel.
By airplane: Dala Airport is situated just 25km away from the hotel. From the airport one has the possibility to travel by taxi or bus. Taxi takes 30-40 min and bus takes 60min. Just outside the hotel there is a bus stop where several of the local busses stops frequently.

At First Hotel Grand guests has been staying and enjoying themselves since 1862. Falun´s largest hotel have undergone renovations during 2014/2015 with inspiration taken from Falun´s cultural heritage.

In the mornings a large breakfast buffet is served, On the weekends, breakfast is served from 7 to 10:30am. Parking is available right outside the premises and at an indoor parking garage at 80 SEK per day. **Brand new gym has been opened and it is free for all customers staying at the hotel**
