Take the Mundelsheim exit off the A81, then head towards Backnang, followed by the direction of Rudersberg in the Wieslauf Valley. Enjoy an authentic overnight stay at Waldenstein Castle. After all, Rudersberg in the Wieslauf Valley—situated between Backnang, Schorndorf, and Welzheim—is not only located in the beautiful Swabian Forest but also offers quiet nights, friendly service, and comfortable rooms.

From Stuttgart main station, take the train to Schorndorf. Change there for the Wieslaufbahn train to Rudersberg. It's another 3 km to Waldenstein Castle. There is no public transport connection to the castle. A taxi ride takes 5 minutes.
