Exit airport Funchal/Ribeira Brava. After passing exit 10, go to left hand lane. Leave at exit 9 signed “Hospital”. Go to roundabout and take 3rd exit.Go down and through tunnel. On leaving the tunnel get into left lane + use roundabout to reverse your direction, following signs to the hospital and re-enter the tunnel. Exit tunnel, stay right past the Hotel 4 Views and take next road right.
From the sea front road in town, take the number 11 orange town bus marked Trapiche. Pass Hotel Four View Baia and the Quintinha's Restaurante A Morgadinha may be seen from the road. Get off at the next stop.
