The hotel is conveniently situated near the A40 freeway and only 5 minutes on foot from the Essen central railway station. Shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums and concert halls can be reached in less than 5 minutes by foot. The world renowned coalmine „ Zeche Zollverein“, the Ruhrmuseum and the very famous “Red Dot Design Museum“ can be reached by the “cultural sightseeing tram 107”. The „ Messe Essen“ fairgrounds, can be reached in 5 min. by car or 15min by tram.

It is close to the city center.
I paid for two nights of parking. There was a large yellow trash container for construction waste in the parking area that blocked access the two parking spaces next to the building; on the second night I was forced to park on the street. When I informed the employee on check out, she apologized but did not feel I was owed a refund for the parking fee.
The newly opened and very modern design hotel, situated in the center of Essen, has 42 nicely furnished rooms. All rooms are unique in their own kind, also the junior suites and apartments assure every guest a relaxing stay. Different artists have left graffiti-art, photographies from the „Ruhrgebiet“ and Essen as well as interesting paintings throughout the entire hotel.
Check-in and breakfast at the annex, Art Hotel Körschen. The modern design hotel, including its rooms, is characterized by its individual design. Various artists leave their mark through graffiti art, photography from the Ruhr region and Essen as well as modern paintings.
