Hotel Description

The hotel lobby is done up entirely in earthy, warm colours of red, brown and maroon with its stone walls, brown tiled flooring and maroon furniture. A dash of colour is added to the space with green upholstered wooden sofas and lots of lush plants in earthen pots. The restaurant is beside the lobby and with minimal demarcation both spaces spill into the other. The ambience here is lively and welcoming. A wooden reception table sits beside the seating arrangement. Rooms There are a total 20 rooms and 10 Cottages. The rooms are all Deluxe rooms and the Cottages are divided into 3 Royal Cottages and 7 Elegant Cottages. The facilities common to all the rooms are satellite television, direct dial STD/ISD telephones, geysers in the washrooms, 24 hours room service and house keeping. The Royal Cottages only have bathtubs and refrigerators. All the categories are in separate blocks. The Royal Cottages are the largest spaces with a separate seating space, dining table, cane sofas and armchairs as the seating arrangement, kitchenette with a steel sink and marble counter and an attached bedroom and washroom. The Elegant Cottages are smaller with the same bedroom as in the Luxury Cottages and the Deluxe rooms consist of one room with a bed, television and small seating arrangement. The washrooms have sunken in shower spaces here. The rooms cater to all pocket sizes and you will be able to find the category that suits you best. Services and Facilities Added services offered by the hotel are a travel desk, doctor on call, sightseeing, currency exchange, games room, children's play area, acceptance of credit cards and house keeping. Dining Thrisangu is a multi cuisine restaurant that can accommodate 65 persons and is open for a buffet and a la carte breakfast (7:30 am to 10:30 am), lunch (1:00 pm to 3:00 pm) and dinner 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm). A buffet is served depending on occupancy. It is connected to the lobby and is a large space. There is also a games room and a children's play area. The games room is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm and can be used only by in house guests, at no extra charge. It includes carom, table tennis and badminton. Location The hotel is located 145 kilometres from Cochin airport, 74 kilometres from Kottayam railway station, 90 kilometres from the backwaters in Kumarakom and 32 kilometres from Thekkady.
