Conveniently located a five minute walk from Kyoto Station, the New Ginkaku is a great location for Kyoto sightseeing. Rather than overwhelming guests with numerous staff trying to help with very little detail, the New Ginkaku has a comfortable, easy going atmosphere where guests can relax. The interior of the hotel is stylish and modern, with modern and cartoons from overseas decorating the lobby. The hotel offers well appointed, western style rooms, with access to the public bath in the neighboring Japanese inn on select days.
