A highland resort surrounded by 2,000m or higher mountains. Convenient location for nature travel such as hiking and watching Luciola cruciata (firefly). Please enjoy romantic atmosphere of onsen town and bathing in free flow milky green hot spring baths which are rarely found in Shiga kogen. Some guest rooms have shower toilet. The hotel also features natural hot spring and artificial hot spring and turbid (sulfur, iron or mud) hot spring called Hotaru onsen. You will find outdoor hot spring and private bath rooms. There are 1 indoor bath and 1 outdoor bath (Big baths use free flow 100% natural hot spring without temperature control which is gushed up from Mt. Yokote and open 24 hours. Open air baths close in winter (from December to the middle of April). Chartered family bath (heated water) is available: reservation required in advance, JPY1,050/person or group for 50 minutes.).
