On the slopes of Joyama Mountain, Hakonenomori Okada Hotel features open-air hot-spring baths overlooking forested hills. Japanese and Western rooms are available, all with a private bathroom and satellite TV. Guests at Hakonenomori Okada can choose between a classically furnished Western room and a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon beds. All are air-conditioned and have a tea maker and fridge. Hakone-Yumoto Train Station is a 10-minute bus ride from the hotel. Yunosato, with hot-spring baths and leisure facilities, is just 200 metres away. Relaxation is easy with the hotel’s massage service and sauna. Those feeling lively can sing karaoke. During the summer, an outdoor pool is available. The lobby has free Wi-Fi. A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served in the banquet hall for an additional fee. Dinner features fresh seafood and a stew of mountain vegetables.
