Special features of the hotel
BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) is a Copenhagen, New York, London and Barcelona based group of architects, designers, urbanists, landscape professionals, interior and product designers, researchers and inventors. Currently involved in a large number of projects throughout Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East, they earned the “Best Architecture Award” with Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet, inaugurated in June 2020. BIG designed Hôtel des Horlogers for architecture and nature to be one, complying with Minergie Eco Standards. AUM Pierre Minassian breaks down boundaries, allowing harmony to arise between architecture and nature. The interior concept is inspired by a walk through the Risoud forest.
