Recently refitted to a very high standard the Countryman Inn has all the character of a country pub with a warm welcome. We are situated in the heart of Dorset’s Thomas Hardy country in East Knighton just off the A352 road between Dorchester and Wareham. Not far from Weymouth, Lulworth Cove and many many other famous tourist spots we are close enough for you to enjoy what they have to offer without being stuck in the middle of it all. There aren't many quieter more peaceful locations than the middle of the Dorset countryside. The Guest accommodation is well maintained & has a rustic feel. Flat screen TV's have been installed in all rooms and guests are more than welcome to utilise the facilities at the Inn, which has also been newly refitted. If you have been here before we took over the management of the property you will be amazed at the changes, it's like a whole new pub!
