Motorway A2 direction Lugano/Chiasso. After the exit of Mendrisio, drive about 1.5 km towards Chiasso/Milano. Continue on the Varese/Stabio approach road and after about 600 meters take the Novazzano-Rancate exit. At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit, direction Arzo and then follow the Serpiano road sign (from Rancate, approx. 9km to Serpiano - the last 4km from Meride through the forest).

By train until station Mendrisio. Twice a day there is a postbus is driving you up to the Hotel Serpiano.
