On Motorway to FUNCHAL, leave on Exit 13 FUNCHAL (Boa Nova) left into Estrada da Boa Nova. Pass shops on your right, on the bend take immediate left down to ‘Rua da Rochinha’. Take the 3rd left, Rua São João Bosco, at road end turn left to round about, turn left ‘Travessa Manuel Alexandre’, Half way along on the right you will see a red wall and at the big green gate, ring the bell on the LEFT.

Quinta Mãe dos Homens Garden Village offers 22 self-catering apartments set within a private estate above Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the bay’s natural amphitheatre. Each apartment includes cable TV, direct telephone, safe, hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette. All units are non-smoking. Cots, irons, boards, heaters, and fans are available on request. Guests may request a balcony or garden access at booking. Free parking is provided. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and solarium at your leisure. Reception has limited hours; please contact us in advance to arrange arrivals outside these times.
