Country House Casco dell’Acqua is situated in the Umbrian countryside, near Trevi, conveniently located between Bevagna and Montefalco. The property, once typical Umbrian farmhouse, whose main building is only 4 metres from the bank of the River Clitunno, dates back to the beginning of the 18th Century and  was probably a typical tannery.Today, the country house, after an accurate restoration following the principles and rules of  bioarchitecture, offers all modern facilities and amenities: restaurant with typical food and local wines, outdoor swimming-pool with salt water, air conditioning in every apartment, outdoor park for children.  The furniture is simple and refined at the same time, apartments are comfortable and relaxing, and are perfectly embedded in the surrounding landscape. The Country house features particular  techniques of painting such as the natural decorative water painting called  “encanto” on the walls , terracotta floors are treated with natural beeswax , pieces of furniture made of real oak wood. Country House Casco dell’Acqua has a typical gourmet Restaurant “Vino e Cucina” (Wine & Cuisine). The Restaurant proposes only typical traditional food from Umbria, products Oasi Umbria, 100% natural without chemicals, excellent quality. Some examples: legumes, Etruscan Umbrian sheep cheese seasoned in cave, truffle cheese, Honey DOP, fresh ham and cottage cheese from a farm nearby, black truffle from Norcia, selected Chianina Meat, extra virgin olive oil, biologic jams and much more.
