My room smelt of stale cigarettes and the room was split floor with a steep spiral stairs. I was told it was an upgrade, but it didn’t feel like it, rather it felt uncomfortable. The hotel was full so they could not move my room. If I was staying a second night in Paris I would have looked for a change of hotel.
