Located 1.2 km from the town centre of Eger, Hotel Villa Völgy enjoys a quiet location in the Szépasszony valley. It offers a spa and wellness area, a fitness centre and rooms with minibar and cable TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Guests of the Villa Völgy can enjoy breakfast buffet in the on-site restaurant or a drink in the bar. There, also a wide range of highly rated wines from the Eger wine region is served. Villa Völgy is surrounded by a 20.000 m² garden and features amongst others indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a hot tub, several saunas and a gym. Massages will be provided upon request. Guests can rent bicycles at the property for a surcharge. Parking is possible on site for a surcharge. Please be advised that the spa and wellness area is a short walk away from the building housing Deluxe room types. Please note that the indoor section of the wellness area is closed from 08:00 to 12:00 on Mondays due to the regular cleaning process. Please also note that the swimming pool is filled with thermal water, hence the not entirely transparent texture. Please note that the property cannot guarantee that all rooms booked will be located on the same floor when booking the Superior Double Room, the Superior Triple Room, or the Superior Double Room with 2 Extra Beds.
Special features of the hotel
In 2006 the hotel's 4-star wing was opened in a new building, where air-conditioned rooms, a conference room and the wellness department await guests. The 100-year-old main building was renovated in 2009, the new wing houses modern, high quality, 4-star rooms and a unique restaurant. The hotel’s restaurant offers Hungarian specialities and wellness meals. Max. 200 persons can be seated there in a pleasant, comfortable, airconditioned environment. Closed parking place is available (upon extra charge). The imposing buildings of the hotel complex are surrounded by a beautiful park with shady trees, a small rock garden and blooming plants.
