Distance from Sofia airport to Borovets is 73km, and take about 90 minutes. From Sofia airport take the international road E80, direction Plovdiv. Turn right when you see Borovets sign. You will pass through Gorublyane (suburb of Sofia) and continue to Pancharevo Lake following national road 82 to Samokov. In Samokov turn right for Borovets and follow the main road.

Every 30 minutes, a bus/minibus departs for Samokov from Sofia South Bus Station (Avtogara Yug). In about an hour the bus arrives at Samоkov Bus Station. There you can take a van to Borovets every 15 minutes.
